My gift for Valentine's Day this year was Lola. She is tiny and wiggly and snorts a lot. The kids love her but may be the death of her.

Illness, Amazon and Potty Training

So these last few weeks have been terrifyingly eventful.


At the beginning of last week Evie developed an infection on her leg that was very painful.

My little baby is one year old. A toddler according to many sources, though I contest this association.

Sticky Hair

I am constantly amazed at how frequently I must scrub sticky goo out of Evie's hair. She must be hiding candy throughout the house b/c I'm sure this is the number one cause.

Where does paint go?

Not in Evie's hair.
Not on Evie's hands.

Tomorrow brings...

I am ready to see my family tomorrow, oops, today. I am NOT ready to deal with a 2 year old and an 8 month old for 6 hours in the car.

Vaseline is NOT our friend.

So I had just finished feeding the baby and here comes Kyler holding a screaming Evie by her hands...
